Orthodontist & Tweed Course Instructor
Dr. Andrei Mitu is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, with over 17 years of clinical experience in both private practice and as a former member of the Orthodontics department at UMF Carol Davila, emphasizing his extensive expertise. He is a proud member of the Charles H Tweed International Foundation in Tucson, Arizona, USA, having completed the Tweed Foundation course in 2008 and 2018. Dr. Mitu has been an instructor at numerous Standard Edgewise Technique - Tweed Merrifield courses, where he is highly regarded for his expertise. He holds memberships with esteemed organizations such as the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), Union des Orthodontistes de Belgique (UFOB), Société Française d’Orthodontie (SFODF), Romanian Orthodontic Association, and Romanian Association for Orthodontic Education (AREO), where he is a founding member. Currently, Dr. Mitu practices privately in Brussels, Belgium, where he continues to provide exceptional orthodontic care to his patients while actively contributing to the advancement of the field through his clinical practice and academic pursuits.
